The small print
Ad spend allowance. Your ad budget stays yours and is separate from our fees. The management fee covers running spend up to the allowance; above it, we charge 15% of the additional spend.
"From" pricing. The from price covers a typical engagement. A larger site, catalogue or market may need more hours - you'll get a fixed number in writing before anything starts.
Terms. No setup fees. No lock-in - everything runs month to month on one month's notice. All prices exclude VAT.
FAQs
No. Rolling monthly contracts with one calendar month's notice from either side - no minimum term, no penalty for leaving, no lock-in of any kind. If we're doing good work and you're getting a return, you'll stay. A long contract would protect us, not you.
Ad spend is flexible. The management fee stays the same - it covers our time regardless of spend level - but you can turn ad budgets up or down each month. For seasonal businesses we often run channels year-round and vary the budgets to match demand, planned with you in advance.
They're separate, so you're never paying twice. The allowance (up to £4,000/mo per channel, pooled to £8,000/mo on the Growth Starter) is what goes to Google, Microsoft, Meta or whoever - the management fee covers our time and expertise. If spend goes above the allowance, we charge 15% on the excess: spend £5,000 in a month on one channel and you'd pay £750 management plus £150. We'd discuss it with you before it happens - we never push spend upward without a reason.
Yes, we're happy to work either way - you have the billing arrangement directly with Google etc., OR we put your planned ad spend on our invoice to you. You pay one invoice and we handle the billing hassle.
The 15% only kicks in if we push spend above the allowance, and we'd only do that when the data shows a return that justifies it. It aligns our incentives with yours - we make more if we scale your spend, but only if the numbers stack up. We won't recommend scaling just to earn more on the overage.
No contractual minimum, but a practical one: below roughly 1,000 visitors a month per channel, the data is too thin to optimise properly. We model the numbers before we start - if your budget won't hit that threshold for the keywords that matter, we'll tell you upfront and suggest a channel or strategy where it goes further. We'd rather turn down the work than waste your money.
No. Account builds and restructures, landing pages, tracking and conversion setup, ad copy and creative, launching new campaigns mid-contract, monthly reporting - all included in the monthly fee. The only cost beyond it is the ad spend itself, and the 15% if spend goes above your allowance.
As a flat monthly retainer based on scope - flows, mailshot frequency, segmentation - not per send or per subscriber. The cost stays predictable, and we're not incentivised to email your list more than is actually useful.
No large deposit, but all fees are due in advance: management fees are invoiced monthly in advance, and if we're paying ad spend on your behalf, your planned spend is invoiced in advance too. If you hold the billing arrangement directly with the platforms, ad spend is simply billed to you as it's spent.
Everything is yours. Ad accounts, landing pages, tracking - all held in your name from day one, with you keeping full admin access throughout. If we part ways, you take everything with you. We're not in the business of holding accounts hostage.
Because scope varies. The "from" price covers a typical engagement; a larger site, catalogue or market may need more hours. For SEO and GEO in particular, the competitiveness of your niche and how quickly you need results both shape the right budget - a crowded market or a tight timeframe takes more firepower than a quiet one. Either way, you'll get a fixed number in writing before anything starts.
