What we collect, and why
When you send us an enquiry
Our contact forms ask for your name, email address and message, and optionally your phone number, website and the services you are interested in. We use this information to reply to you and, if you become a client, to set up our work together. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (responding to the enquiry you sent us) and, where you are asking about becoming a client, taking steps prior to a contract.
Form submissions are delivered to us as email through Resend, our email delivery provider, along with the time of submission and your browser’s user-agent string (which our spam filtering uses). Submissions are not stored in a database on this website.
When you book a call
Bookings are handled by Calendly, who collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number (for text reminders) and answers about your company and website. Calendly processes this under its own privacy policy. After booking, our confirmation page reads your booking details from the link Calendly sends you to personalise the page - this happens entirely in your browser, the details are removed from the address bar straight away, and we do not store them.
When you browse the site
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address in server logs for security and performance. Fonts are loaded from Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, and our tree-planting counter fetches a public figure from Ecologi - your browser makes requests to those services, which means they receive your IP address, as with any website resource.
Identifying visiting organisations
We use Lead Forensics, a business-to-business visitor identification service, to tell us which organisations visit this site, so we can focus our outreach on businesses that have shown an interest in what we do. It works by taking the IP address your visit arrives from and matching it against publicly available IP-to-company data. It identifies the organisation a connection belongs to, not you as an individual - no personal data is extracted, and it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device (the lookup happens server-side, which is why it is not controlled by the cookie banner below).
Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f), and we have recorded a legitimate interests assessment for it. You have the right to object to this processing under Article 21 - email getresults@believe.digital and we will act on it. Lead Forensics (Feedback Ltd, a UK company) processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Essential site functions do not use cookies. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, plus advertising pixels from Meta, Microsoft and LinkedIn) are only set with your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time through the cookie banner. If you decline, the site works exactly the same - we just see less about how it is used.
Who we share your data with
We never sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers named above (Resend, Calendly, Cloudflare, Lead Forensics, and - with your consent - the analytics and advertising platforms), each acting as a processor under their own data processing terms, and otherwise only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and, where relevant, the client relationship that follows - after which they are deleted. Booking data is retained according to Calendly’s schedule; consent-based analytics data according to the retention periods set in those tools.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email getresults@believe.digital - we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
